One of the most famous images ever taken is that of Don Larsen as he holds up catcher Yogi Berra who has leapt into the arms of the pitcher in celebration after Larsen threw a World Series perfect game on October 8, 1956 against the Dodgers. One of the most important moments in baseball history, this is a completely original example and one of the only truly vintage examples off the original negative we have ever seen in the hobby. There is a late 1950's stamp from the United Press (c. 1958) on the back with their two-digit zip code (pre-1963) and a secondary stamp from NEA that appears to be their 1950's example but the portion with the date is a bit light. This fits within our range for a Vintage 1 example, but PSA may or may not assess it as being within their narrow window for a Type 1 so please keep this in mind when bidding.
