1947 Outstanding vintage batting photograph of Jackie Robinson from the Brooklyn Dodgers as he posed at the ballpark before making his debut with the Dodgers and breaking the color barrier. The photo has exceptional clarity and could easily be in a Type 1 holder if the photographer had stamped it, but PSA having assigned it a Type 3, likely being conservative because of the lack of stampings on the back. A tremendous rarity and important as it dates to Robinson's rookie year and it presents well with note to some tape from a scrapbook. This is the only example of this image we have ever seen in the industry.
