c. 1905 Vintage head to toe batting photograph of young Ty Cobb from his rookie season in the big leagues. Taken at a rickety ballpark, likely from spring training or a barnstorming event, this is clear and bold and grades almost perfect. From the archives of Brown Brothers, the photo appears to be a c. 1920's restrike. One of Cobb's greatest images we have ever handled and it grades a perfect 10/10!
