1938 Awesome photograph of Lou Gehrig from the Yankees as he attended the Hollywood premier for his film "Rawhide" as he was accompanied with his wife and Joe McCarthy and his wife as well. It is a crazy image when put into context as Gehrig was set to play in his final season before contracting ALS and being forced out of baseball. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this is the only example of this image we have ever seen!
