Rare 1934 photograph of gangster John Dillinger photographed in court at Crown Point, Indiana for his pre-trial hearing. This is a famous scene from the recent biopic on Dillinger in which the state requested he be moved and Dillinger arranged for himself to stay in Crown Point, knowing he could escape from their jail! A beautiful photograph issued by the Associated Press and with a full paper caption on the back, the photo is exceptionally clear and bold with a great use of light and shadows. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1 and it presents here in nice shape overall!
