1948 Vintage action photograph of George Mikan from the Lakers as he dribbled up the court while spectators went about their business as usual in the background. The image was used to make Mikan's 1948 Bowman rookie card, which is one of the most important and valuable cards of all time. One of the seminal basketball images in the hobby, this example ranks among the finest in the world as most of the ones we have seen are in terrible condition and autographed, with this being clean and precise. There are a few light creases at the corners but to the naked eye, this one is perfect! Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1, this is the only vintage example of this photograph we have ever offered! An investment quality masterpiece of sports photography that would be the cornerstone of even the most advanced collection.
