1924 Extremely rare studio photograph of famous actor Lon Chaney in costume from the film "He Who Gets Slapped", which was an early psychological thriller of the silent era. He is pictured in fantastic make-up along with his young co-star Norma Shearer from a dramatic moment in the film. The movie is a first for MGM in many regards and is among the most important of the era. The condition and quality are both outstanding and this is being offered here for the first time ever!
