c. 1922 Large double weight studio photograph of one of the first true matinee idols in Hollywood history, Wallace Reid. He would become one of the first casualties of the emerging drug culture in Hollywood, even attempting an early form of rehab in a sanitarium. One of the only images of Reid we have ever seen and this is a large studio image that presents well and is by far the finest we have ever handled in twenty years! A piece of Hollywood history that belongs in a museum or gallery!
