c. 1920 Portrait style photograph of actress and model Mabel Normand as it was announced (in 1927) that she was near death in Hollywood. While she was described as being ill with a bad cold, it was actually a long life of drug abuse that would ultimately be her undoing just a few years after this photo was released (1930). Issued by Fotograms and in great shape, this is actually one of her better images we have handled.
