1936 Incredible portrait photograph of Jesse Owens in his uniform from the Olympics in Berlin as he was about to change the world with his impressive showing in front of Adolf Hitler. This is the greatest image of Owens we have ever handled and it presents beautifully with incredible clarity. The photo dates to 1954 when Owens did a national radio show with sportswriter Jimmy Powers, making this a 71 year old example and only 18 years after the original was taken. Despite being a slight restrike, this is still well within our range for a vintage example and it presents beautifully!
