1942 Unique contact print photograph of boxing superstar Joe Louis as he gives up his career, or at least puts it on hold, while he joins the fight in WWII. The photo shows Louis as he leaves civilian life and symbolically poses for pictures in the New York Harbor. An incredible new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever, the photo presents well with a really slight red stain that can likely be removed.
