Battling Siki was one of the oddest figures in boxing history. He was briefly the Light Heavyweight Champion of the World and was found murdered after a run-in with white police officers in New York in 1925. The offered photograph from 1922 shows Siki with his wife and child and a great photograph of Siki in fight pose was inset (glued to the front) making this a unique piece of photographic art! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a paper caption as well with pinholes on the corners from editorial use.
