1958 Rare photograph of Johnny Unitas as he lets a pass fly to Jim Mutscheller, one of his favorite targets, and taken during their famous championship season. While the ink notes on the photo are what was used in publication for a story on the thrilling championship game against the Giants, the photo itself was from an earlier game in the season, which was common in the primitive days of press photography, you used images you had on file when the actual photographs from the moment were not available. There is wear and pinholes at the corners from editorial use but the image quality is quite nice and this is an early shot of Unitas in action from his historic season.
