Vintage 1942 photograph of broadcaster Harry Wismer as he appeared behind the Blue network microphone (NBC) and provided play by play for an NFL game. He was the broadcaster for the Lions before hitting the nationwide airwaves and he was the biggest name in football broadcasting for decades. He was also the owner of the New York Titans in the AFL in 1960 (which became the New York Jets) to round out his storied career! A fantastic image in great shape and dated from just after the 1942 season on the back, cementing the age of this gem! A true piece of NFL history that grades a perfect 10/10!
