1924 Rare photograph of football legend Red Grange, but this one is a little different as he is in uniform with the University of Illinois baseball team! Grange was a really good player who could have probably played professionally, but he made a pretty good choice sticking to football! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, the image is from the Underwood archives. it is interesting that the man showing Grange how to hold the bat is form Cubs pitcher Carl Lundgren! This is the best image of Grange in a baseball uniform we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever
