1961 Large photograph of the two catching prospects of the Milwaukee Braves as they work with coach Ken Silvestri on how to play the position in the minor leagues with the Louisville Colonels. Both men would end up in the Hall of Fame, but taking different paths, as Joe Torre would become one of the best managers of all time with Bob Uecker becoming one of baseballs most beloved announcers. An extremely rare image in great shape, it is incredible that both of these men were on the same team and playing the same position! A unique new discovery from a local Louisville photographer named Robert Steinau and offered here for the first time ever.
