1956 Large photograph of George "Andy" Anderson of the famous House of David team and posing in uniform. At the time this photo was taken, Anderson was the player coach for the basketball team that was touring with the Harlem Globetrotters, but he is better known as a pre-integration baseball star that played for decades with Satchel Paige and Negro League stars. Images of Anderson are rare and this is one of only two we have ever seen, capturing him in full uniform and showing off his basketball skills. There is a tony stain on the bottom border, but overall it presents really well. Offered here for the first time ever!
