1952 Large vintage photograph of famous Negro Leaguer Wilmer Fields as he crossed home plate after belting a home run for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Fields was one of the best Negro Leaguers of the 1940's and images of him are tough to find with this being one of the largest and best we have ever handled. The photo has a hard crease at the upper left which has been repaired with tape as well as some handling wear and pinholes, but the issues could be matted out (or trimmed off). There is a paper label attached to the front making this a wire photo proof, but this WILL get a Type 1 from PSA!
