While collectors of sports photography clamor for images of Babe Ruth, it is rare to find one where Ruth himself is the photographer. This c. 1929 example captures Ruth in full uniform at the ballpark with camera in his hand, taking pictures of his own teammates! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, the quality of this photo is great, even if it has some creasing and a trim from editorial use. Encapsulated by PSA as a Type 1!
