Our favorite images of Babe Ruth are the ones where his is surrounded by young fans. You can tell by the look on his face (and his constant accessibility) that he felt right at home among the kids and relished the opportunity to bring smiles to their lives. This is a crystal clear original photo from about 1929 showing Ruth in full uniform and leaning against the stadium wall while about twenty kids with scorecards and autograph books surround the Bambino, whooping and hollering at the chance to meet their idol. Condition and quality are outstanding with this being a re-strike from the 1950's and stamped on the back from the New York Daily News. One of the beat images of Ruth we have ever seen!
