1927 Large action photograph of Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig as he participated in an off-season show of strength with top athletes in other sports. The contest would include archery expert Paul Crouch, Fly Casting Champs, etc. Gehrig was to take on other professionals in other sports to see who could have the lowest round on a golf course, with their instruments of their trade. A clear image from Underwood and Underwood, this has a full paper caption as well. A cool photo of Gehrig throwing a ball down the field and watching its tremendous flight. There is some wear from news room handling but it looks great otherwise.
