Vintage 1925 photograph of baseball star Babe Ruth as he was still relegated to the hospital as part of his "Bellyache Heard Round the World" scandal that kept him out of the start of the 1925 baseball season. He was up and allowed to be outside for some fresh air for the first time in a month and appeared holding his daughter on the roof of the hospital, surrounded by other patients. A precise and clear image in great shape, issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. A powerful work of photography from perhaps the lowest moment in Ruth's life, the photo is in great shape with note to an embossed file stamp as well.
