He had just come off his breakout year, winning the batting title and dominating the National League, and now was preparing for the Yankees in the World Series. Detailed and bold, this is one of the best Musial images we have seen and it was issued by Acme with a full paper caption as well. Musial images from before WWII are rare and undervalued with this being one of his best!
