Absolutely incredible 1913 photograph of baseball pitcher Walter Johnson as he showed off his pitching grip at the ballpark in front of the outfield wall which we believe is the famous Green Monster in Boston. A tremendous image that captures Johnson from early in his career in full uniform, this is embossed and stamped by photographer Richard Sears of Boston. Quite possibly the finest image of Johnson we have ever handled and it presents beautifully, offered here for the first time ever!
