1979-80 Rookie action photograph of Larry Bird from the Boston Celtics as he drives the lane to float a ball into the hoop. Taken from his epic rookie season in which he would battle Magic Johnson and change the game forever, this is his finest rookie photograph we have ever handled. Stamped on the back by photographer Nancy Hogue and dated on the back from just before the start of the playoffs, it captured Bird against the Cavaliers on March 22, 1980. The condition and quality are both outstanding.
