1911 Large photograph of the Princeton University football team in uniform, posing with the trophy ball that indicated they were the champions of the season. While the team was good and filled with star players, the presence of Hobey Baker at the far right is what makes this a special piece of history. He was the first great American hockey player and revolutionized the game like few others in history. He was also a star on the gridiron and is a member of the college football Hall of Fame as well. The photograph is an exceptional piece of hockey and sports history and despite being a restrike from about the 1940's, it presents beautifully. All images of Baker are rare and highly sought after with this one presenting like a $5000 original without breaking the bank!
