Lot Description  

Important 1930 large photograph of Bobby Jones receiving the U.S. Amateur trophy from USGA President Findley S. Douglas at the Merion Cricket Club. This was the victory that capped off the Grand Slam, the greatest accomplishment in Golf history! Photo has tremendous detail and looks great minimal handling wear from age. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and offered here for the first time ever, fresh from their archives.
