1964 Important action photo from the fight between Sonny Liston and Cassius Clay which would become one of the most important fights of all time. Clay would take the title from Liston and become the Heavyweight Champion of the World, catapulting him to the top of the sports world. A beautiful condition image which is completely vintage to 1964, issued by the United Press and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well! The photo has some wear to the edges from editorial use but otherwise it presents beautifully.
