1947 Ringside action photograph of Joe Louis and his challenger, Jersey Joe Walcott, as they battled in the ring at Madison Square Garden. A bold image in great shape, this is a rarity that we have never seen before and shows Walcott on the mat from one of the most controversial fights of all time. Even Louis thought he had lost, but he got the decision and retained his title. A rare piece of boxing history in nice shape and offered here for the first time ever from a prominent archive. Issued by Acme and stamped underneath the paper caption.
