Dated August 11, 1926 photograph of the Heavyweight Champion of the World, Jack Dempsey, as he chatted with the man who would soon dethrone him, Gene Tunney. They were working on the final preparations for the their epic bout and this is one of the few images of the two men together before their clash! Issued by Underwood and Underwood and offered here for the first time ever, fresh from their archives. The photo has a bit of wear from news room use, but it looks great overall.
