Battling Siki was one of the oddest figures in boxing history. He was briefly the Light Heavyweight Champion of the World and was found murdered after a run-in with white police officers in New York in 1925. The offered photograph from 1922 is one of his earliest and finest we have ever handled and it presents well in nice shape. Images and memorabilia of Siki are almost impossible to find and this was issued by Kadel and Herbert with a full paper caption as well.
