Dated October 6, 1927 large photograph of the starting pitchers for game one of the famous 1927 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The image shows Waite Hoyt of the Yankees and Ray Kremer of the Pirates shaking hands before doing battle! Image is in great condition overall with two light creases that can not be seen until the image is tilted to the light. NEA stamp on back with historic date and it is likely this is only example in the world.
