Three years after winning the World Series in 1924, the Washington Senators were still sporting quite a lineup! Led by Hall of Famers Tris Speaker, Goose Goslin, Sam Rice, manager Bucky Harris and Stan Coveleskie, the team also included Joe Judge, Buddy Myer, Muddy Ruel and others. Quite a lineup! This is the large example of this team we have ever handled and it presents well with the most of the squad (Walter Johnson was absent) in uniform and posing at Griffith park in Washington on opening day! Issued by Pacific and Atlantic and stamped on the back with a nice paper caption as well, the photo is crystal clear and it presents well with note to a chip off the left border.
