1926 Intense portrait photograph of Johnny Werts from the Boston Braves as he appeared at the ballpark in full uniform. A rare player to find images of, Wertz only played in parts of four seasons in big leagues and this is his best photo we have ever seen, stamped on the back by the famous Thorne studios. The photo has a crease and slight indentation from a paperclip as well as a few light pinholes at the corners, but it looks great overall and it is being offered here for the first time ever.
