c. 1924 Rare photograph of baseball broadcasters at the World Series between the New York Giants and Washington Senators, as their booth was invaded by comedian Nick Altrock who took a turn telling some funny stories to the listeners. Included in the photo are some of the pioneers of baseball over the airways, led by Grantland Rice! Baseball over the radio is as nostalgic as apple pie in America and it all started right here! An incredible image from the Kadel and Herbert News Service and in great shape, this is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen.
