1924 Double weight photograph of members of the American baseball team as they appeared in England as part of their famous "World Tour." They would meet the King and play games to large crowds, but baseball failed to take hold again, making any images from the tour extremely rare. This is from the estate of Hall of Famer Red Faber and it captures eight players and three wives in their formal wear. The players are not identified but Faber is pictured second from the right at top row. It is hard to know exactly when this image was produced but it is a highly silvered photograph that has significant age to it.
