1921 Extremely rare portrait photo of pitcher Dave Keefe from the Philadelphia Athletics in full uniform. While he was an effective pitcher for several years, what is forgotten today is that he was one of the first players to excel despite a major disability. Keefe had an accident as a child and lost one of his fingers and used that to his advantage as a pitcher. The offered photo is one of the only examples of Keefe we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever. The photo has some painting from editorial use at an archive but otherwise it presents well. An underrated player in baseball history!
