1920 Vintage action photograph of slugging outfielder Ping Bodie from the New York Yankees and showing him striding in to the ball, complete with a choked up grip on the bat. Bodie was a feared hitter but was also the carousing buddy of Babe Ruth who helped introduce him to the vices that would lead to some rough years for the Bambino. Stamped on the back by the Paul Thompson agency and in great shape overall, the photo presents beautifully and is among his best we have ever handled.
