1916 Large and crystal clear portrait photo of Walter Johnson in full uniform and posing in front of the dugout in a very "Conlon-esque" pose. Taken at the height of his career, this is one of the finest images of Johnson ever taken, offered here in great shape overall from the Culver archives and it appears it was done on double weight paper. While the photo appears to be a re-strike from the 1930's, it is still quite old with almost 100 years of age to it, and grading almost perfect. This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing images of Johnson ever taken!
