1914 Incredible portrait style photograph of popular outfielder and rare player to find images of, Jimmy Walsh from the New York Yankees in uniform and posing at the ballpark with his bat over his shoulder. Crystal clear and bold, this is from the archives of Underwood and Underwood and offered here for the first time ever. This size and format of photographs from the Underwood archive were thought to have been done right after WWI (1919-1921) as contact prints to create albums in their showroom for people to view and purchase prints. PSA likely would call this a c. 1920 restrike (Type 2) but it fits within our range for a Vintage 1 example. Misidentified on the back as Jack Warhop.
