1912 Was a big year for the Boston Red Sox as they opened their new ballpark (Fenway Park) and also sported the words "Red Sox" on their jerseys for the first time ever. Here, Clyde Engle of the Sox, shows off the new threads as he leaps for a high one. An incredibly clean and clear image, this grades a perfect 10/10 and is being offered here from the archives of Underwood and Underwood. This is a c. 1919 era restrike that was done after WWI when Underwood made copies of their images for display in albums to show which negatives they had on file, this fits within our range for a Vintage 1 example but PSA would likely call it a c. 1920 restrike.
