1910's Portrait photograph of Boston Red Sox pitcher, Smoky Joe Wood, as he was implicated for throwing games in 1919. It is tough to know when the photograph was issued, but likely 1926. The image was almost certainly a portrait from the late 1910's when Wood was trying to reinvent himself as a member of the Indians, making it a slight restrike, but not by much. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
