The 1910 action photograph of Ty Cobb sliding into third base at Hilltop Park against Jimmy Austin by Charles Conlon is the greatest early sport photo ever taken. There are only about five original examples done by Conlon himself in his lifetime, making re-strikes of various times being extremely valuable and rare in their own right. This offered example was done in about 1958 which is still closer to the original than todays date by a considerable margin. Encapsulated by PSA (Type 4) and in perfect shape, this is a great looking alternative to a $500,000 original example, if you can find one!
