1948 Photograph of Babe Ruth as he appeared in Yankee pinstripes for the last time ever and spent a moment in the locker room getting ready to appear before a sell-out crowd at Yankee Stadium. A few moments later the iconic photo of him leaning on a bat and waving to his fans would be snapped, winning the Pulitzer Prize for photographer Nat Fein! While this is a photograph that is often found reproduced in the 1970's and 1980's, this is clearly a vintage image that dates to about 1958 within our window for a Vintage 2 example! The photo has some light creases across the front that are mostly only visible when tilted to the light, but it presents well with a ton of age to it.
