Lot Description  

Dated May 1958 vintage photograph of University of Kansas basketball star Wilt Chamberlain as he contemplates his future. He had lost his drive to play in college and wanted to start making money. He would sign a $10,000 deal with LOOK magazine to announce he was leaving college and then a massive contract with the Harlem Globetrotters. A poignant image in great shape, this is from photographer Ed Maker of the Denver Post and stamped on the back.
