1966 Exceptional photograph of Henry Cooper after being beaten to a pulp by his opponent Muhammad Ali. While their first bout in 1963 had been close, with Cooper even knocking Ali down, this one was a bloodbath as Ali had landed a blow to the eye of Cooper that led to him bleeding profusely. The most violent fight of Ali's career, this is an absolute work of boxing history that could be in a museum or gallery. Directly from a London archive and offered here for the first time ever, the photo is a rarity in the United States and this one was found in the original United Press envelope (scanned for provenance). A perfect 10//10 that is among the greatest boxing images we have ever seen!
