1948 Large action photograph of tragic boxer Marcel Cerdan as he battled with Tony Zale for the Middleweight Championship of the World. Cerdan would win and it seemed he would have a long reign at the top, but he would tragically die the year after this photo was taken in a plane crash. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. An impressive piece of boxing history that presents well with note to a bit of corner wear being the only issues.
