1983 Incredibly rare photograph of Alabama football coach Paul "Bear" Bryant as he appeared on the sidelines for the last time. This was taken at the Liberty Bowl and shows the team running onto the field with Bryant being escorted by police through hostile territory. Autographed by the photographer on the front with his notes, this is from a southern archive and offered here for the first time ever. We are confident this is a 1980's Vintage 1 example based on the age of the archive this was pulled from, but due to the blank back, PSA has called it a Type 2 from the early 1990's. An important piece of football history as Bryant would die just a few weeks after this photo was taken, making it not just one of his last on the field, but one of his last ever taken!
