1912 Extremely rare Notre Dame football team photograph including young Knute Rockne in uniform. An incredible piece of football history, this is a 1931 re-strike of the 1912 image that was issued when Rockne died in a plane crash. There is some wear to the edges and some wear in a circular fashion around Rockne from when the image was used in publication. Issued by the International News and offered here fresh out of an archive.
