1910 Rare photograph of football star Ted Coy from Yale University as he coached his squad from the sidelines just a few years after he retired as a player. A rare image of perhaps the best player of his generation, this is from the George Grantham Bain photo service and in nice shape overall, offered here for the first time ever fresh out of a prominent archive. Images of Coy are rare and this is his only vintage example we have ever offered! The Bain stamp is from a few years later c. 1918, probably from when he married a new wife, but it fits within our range for a Vintage 1 example.
